Welcome to the Restaurant La Vucciria , named like the most famous market in Palermo . Enjoy original Sicilian cuisine , delicious Italian wines and warm hospitality. Located on the beautiful Rüdesheimer Platz we are pleased to welcome you whether inside the restaurant or outside on our terrace. You will discover Sicilian joy of life and a place you will love.
Not sure. This is surely not bad, but I have been here twice and food doesn't convincing me. Probably they are trying to make a food that could be liked by locals. Sometimes there is too salt, sometimes the flavour is not so amazingly explosive like in sisilian cusine. I will try again. Staff anyway is really amazing!
Very tasty food with top quality.
Really tasty and great service 👍🏻
Amazing food, amazing staff, just lovely experience!
Very warm staff, best Sicilian cuisine. Whether it's just pizza or the tuna, everything fits. And you sit very nicely on the terrace.
Pizza very tasty. Only we didn't get any schnapps on the house. All other tables do.
A real pearl in the neighborhood around Rüdesheimer Platz. Even if you don't belong to the regular audience, who sometimes behave as if it were their restaurant, you don't need to shy away from a visit - on the contrary: Simply delicious, simply perfect hospitality and a diligent, very nice service. The cuisine is very authentic and has real culinary surprises in store for Sicilian cuisine. You are welcome here - and you can easily overlook the natives of the Rüdi ;-)
Great food. Loving service. Very familiar atmosphere. Authentically Sicilian. We'd love to come back!
An Italian restaurant owned by an Italian from Palermo. Friendly staffs from Italy as well. In general, the portion is surely too small for the Germans, a bit overpriced and the google rating 4.4 does not match the actual quality. Good: Antipasto Lavucciria and Zuppa Don Francesco Bad: if you love cooking Italian foods just forget - Spaghetti Vongole (Vongole are wrongly prepared and wasted, and too many cheap peperonis and garlics that are just wrongly cooked. In other words, no flavor of Vongole.) and - Duett Ravioli (you will eat just salt unless you wash them). Bad: Cannolo Sicilian. The taste is so so. What annoyed me is that Cannolo Sicilian (2 Stück) for €6,50 sounds a nice deal, but in reality they make two Cannoli out of one Cannolo by cutting it in half. That was very funny. And you will wait.
A typical “favorite Italian” in the special shape of the Sicilian restaurant. Currently a small menu, but a good daily menu where you can make discoveries. Very good antipasti. Really good pizza. “Correct wines”, as the Berliner says, of course Italian beer. Why favorite Italian? Because people really enjoy what they do and you can tell. Very friendly and nice service, warm atmosphere, inside and outside. Reservations recommended.
We celebrated our daughter's confirmation at La Vucciria. Communication in advance ran smoothly and the restaurant opened 2 hours earlier exclusively for us! The food was very good, fresh and extremely tasty. In addition to fine wines, there are also Moretti on tap! The service (Nadia) was very friendly, careful and always available. A great afternoon that everyone will remember for a long time. We'd love to come back!
Very pleasant atmosphere, nice service, very familiar. The food was delicious, probably because real ingredients are used here. I would love to come back.
The flavors of Palermo: distant memories adapted to the German palate
Very good Sicilian cuisine, freshly prepared and it tastes very tasty. Yesterday's pizza del giorno with salsiccia and kale was great 👌.
It was recommended by a friend, we went to eat for my Birthday, the owner treated us like old friends 5 stars are not enough to describe the beautiful evening that made us spend. The food all more than delicious, we will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.
Super recommended restaurant, exquisite food, very kind staff and attentive to all needs, we will definitely be back.
We waited a long time for the food and had to wait almost an hour before we could pay but otherwise the food tasted fantastic👌
A little piece of Italy in the heart of Berlin. Whoever comes here experiences a great, very familiar service with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. So far I've always found something on the daily menu myself. Whether tortellino, homemade pizza or dessert (the panacotta is recommended here, at least I could put myself in there) everything is great and a real treat.
Good food, nice place outside, nice host
Beautiful Rüdesheimer Platz! Nice staff and great food! 🍷😋
Thank you for the lovely evening! Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere.
Very very tasty, great Italian! We will be back!
An amazing place!!! Just come and try spaghetti with truffles and Primitivo!
Cozy place. No one speaks English. The food is ok. The pizza isn't so good. There are better Italian places in the area
Absolutely loved this restaurant
Nice atmosphere but the servings are too small if you are hungry.
Amazing food! No brainer
The calamari was some of the best I have ever eaten. Pizza was excellent, service was top notch. Definitely recommend.
TOP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good food but too expensive. Waitress very good attend. Only problem that they not accept credit card so we swap to pay by debit card and also told me that what not possible. Probably they want only cash like the majority of stores/restaurants in Berlin: No advice before and no single information outside. Finnally need to withdraw money from the bank and come back to pay in cash. Comon guys it's XXI century.
Too pricey and average taste. Though as local option not bad
An absolutely perfect carpaccio. Nice service. Oh yes, the red wine was also very good.
Nice location, very salty food. Service was fine.
Walking past this place, I wasn't sure if it would be any good, but WOW amazing Italian food, would definitely recommend if you are in the area. The owner was very welcoming and warm made every effort to fulfill all our requests.
Best Italian restaurant out of Palermo. In Berlin an absolute “must do“. Owner Mauro and his stuff is great at heart and devoted to outstanding “EATALY“ and hospitality.
This place is absolutely fantastic! The Tagliolini al Tartufo is one of the best things I have ever had! #LifeChanging
We were directed to a table outside and then just as we started to sit down a more senior member of staff redirected us to an identically sized table next to it. Minus star. Generally speaking we expect to be brought water in addition to any drinks that we order... but we had to order water. Minus star. We found the staff to be generally unfriendly with no smiles etc. Minus star. The food was okay to good. I had a tuna pizza which was a little on the watery side. The atmosphere was older retired people in their 50s and 60s. There is a nice outside seating area but at a certain time in the evening the sun will dazzle you and the restaurant has employee no measures to shield their guests from the setting sun.
Can be busy but well worth waiting.
Looks nice from the inside, but the relation of price and quality is really questionable and the staff is a bit unfriendly.
Ick find es super
Super amazing food. A little expansive for Berlin standards.
Ok
Good italian restaurant, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Offers a good 8-10€ lunch menu with a soup. As they say it is a taste of Palermo :-)
Great Italian restaurant, great staff, and excellent service. The food was very well prepared with great fresh ingredients, all moderately priced. Highly recommended.
